Redefining Tandem Language and Culture Learning in Higher Education. (With an introduction and a conclusion)
Résumé
This collection provides an overview of tandem language and culture learning, created and developed in Europe after
the Second World War, before reaching other continents. This book shows how tandem founding principles have
been revisited and how this approach is currently being institutionalised in higher education. It also tackles tandem
learning outcomes (intercultural, linguistic, professional) as well as set-up challenges (assessment, counselling,
resources). This volume will therefore be of particular interest to students and researchers in intercultural
communication, language education, multilingualism, and applied linguistics.
